Respefy · iOS beta

Make the good in people visible.

After a good moment with someone, Respefy gives you a simple way to say, “I noticed something good in you”—and a place to keep what others notice in you.

We’re testing whether that gesture feels natural in real life.

Who It Is For

This beta is for people who notice the small good things others do—and want a simple way to say so. Try it with a friend, family member, colleague, or small group.

Try It in a Real Moment

Use Respefy when appreciation already exists and you want to make it visible.

  • Thank someone after a meetup.
  • Appreciate a colleague who helped without being asked.
  • Tell a friend what you noticed—their humor, warmth, or good energy.
  • Let someone know they made a group feel welcome.
  • Read a Recognition you received and notice what stays with you later.

Getting Started

  1. Install Respefy from TestFlight and sign in.
  2. Open your personal QR.
  3. Ask someone with Respefy to scan it and tap Give Respect.
  4. Add what they noticed or a short note if it feels natural.
  5. Open Inbox to see the Recognition you received.

Recognition is anonymous by default. The person giving it can choose to share who they are, now or later.

Tell Us What It Felt Like

We want to understand the feeling, not only the function.

  • What moment felt genuine?
  • What felt awkward or forced?
  • What stayed with you afterward?
  • Did you think about the person more than the app?
  • Was there a moment when using Respefy felt natural—or when it did not?

Bug reports, confusing screens, and crash details are helpful too.

Testing Alone?

You can check the setup with a second device: show your QR on one screen and scan it with another phone. A quick video call with someone you know also works.

This will show you how the beta works. The full idea is easier to feel after a real interaction.
